You can start on the Elven Trail from accommodation Eversbosch 1, 2 or 3 at the Maikenshof in Berg en Dal, or from pancake restaurant De Heksendans, also in Berg en Dal.

Pirates' Treasure Trail in Berg en Dal

The last of four pirate brothers, cap'n Barend Stormcrow has been searching for the treasure of his father, the notorious Cap'n Splinter. Stormcrow welcomes your group at pancake restaurant De Heksendans or at group accommodation De Maikenshof, and from there the treasure hunt will commence.
 

This treasure trail leads through the woods of Berg en Dal. On the way, secret locations have to be found where you'll have to crack codes, which open Stormcrow's ancient chest. With the contents you'll find the route to the next location, and in the end you'll discover the hiding place of old cap'n Splinter's fortune: The Treasure of Devil's Mountain...

For children, age 5-10 years. The Pirates' Trail is adapted to the age of the children.

We design and organize various orientation trails on demand, at your preferred location and for that we use around 10 different forms of orientation. Various themes are possible with theatrical posts on route. Your trail starts with a quick course for using map and compass, and then the group starts off on the trail along the most beautiful paths and spots we can find.

The area around Nijmegen is famous for the Four-days March through its hilly woods, the land between the rivers, and the Ooijpolder; all within a short distance from the city center. Beek, Berg en Dal, Heumensoord, Heilig Landstichting, and the Overasseltse Vennen... It's possible to combine a walking tour with map & compass or GPS with a visit to the Africa Museum or museum Oriëntalis.

Bike Tours in and around Nijmegen

On a bike you have a greater range and see more! On a smooth rental bike through the Ooijpolder, or per mountain bike straight through the woods of Heumensoord, Berg en Dal and Groesbeek for the real die-hards! We're familiar with all the nice trails so you'll get a bike tour to your heart's desire. GPS routing is also a possibility.
You can combine a tour with a picnic on route, a pancake at restaurant De Heksendans in Berg en Dal, or a hot or cold drink with pie at Oortjeshekken in Ooij.
